Local authorities, NHS Trusts and Police forces around
the country are all facing similar IT challenges. When it comes
to software, the dilemma of buying a packaged product off the shelf,
developing it in-house, or outsourcing it to a third party is always
a difficult one to resolve. DataSmart® Alliance Programme brings
together the best of all three worlds.
We are setting up user groups across the UK, members of which require
similar software. We develop the required software with the help
of the member organisations and they get the software, upgrades
and support FREE OF CHARGE.
User groups occasionally meet to discuss new features they would
like to see in their software and remain in contact by e-mail. These
workshops are also an excellent way to identify the best practices
in the field.
Our pilot programmes in the West Midlands and East Anglia regions
have been vastly successful. Our compliance software, Request Manager,
and our meta-data repository application, DataStore, were both developed
with such collaboration. You may contact the participating local
